Plot – Spoilers:
A camgirl Andrea is frustrated with her job and spends her days in irony, performing acts she verbally expresses her distaste for. An anonymous user contacts her with an unspecified opportunity, and Andrea smartly drops everything she has and heads for LA. A few days in, she realizes there’s no such opportunity and begins working as an escort. As her life gets more desperate, so do the extremities of her clients.
I didn’t expect this movie would be so deep and impactful. The beginning looked a bit messy, but it was an artistic illusion – it was a metaphor of the total mess the life of this poor girl was. The cruel descent into horror that the porn dimension of the movie took parallels the cruelty she experiences and the pain that goes on crushing her heart. The directing makes porn indeed less and less about fun, but more and more about survival, till it cannot feel arousing at all and viewers want it to end so the poor girl can keep what’s left of her soul. I’m impressed by the acting, the directing and everything. This movie showed the cruelty of things without taking measures like when the girl experiences after she returns from her journey to the park. I found the porn scenes were better filmed and directed than classic porn, more interesting to watch, maybe because there was a much deeper artistic intention in their filming. This movie really struck me and I truly felt the upper-neck area behind my head like it was burning in the end of the movie during its very last scene. If you have a soul, you can’t come out untouched from watching this movie.

It’s like this wants to be Bunny Game, but it’s not willing to take the same risks or explore deep enough depravity. Gave up half way through.

Good film. An acquired taste, but good nonetheless. It isn’t the most disturbing film in the world. I’d say it is the themes and obviously the ending that would put it in here. Most of the film depends on visuals than the dialog. To break it down, Andrea is a junkie cam worker who is offered more work, so she goes around and get fucked about while she just wants to see her daughter who was taken away from her. I saw a few comments about the unsimulated sex being disturbing, but I don’t think so. The part that is disturbing about that is Andrea’s psyche slipping away. She doesn’t enjoy it and when she did the guy left and stole from her. Seeing her destroy herself like that is what makes it disturbing. At the end of the film it looks as if her soul has completely left and can’t feel anything anymore, which leads her to do what she did. That’s good acting. I enjoyed this film, it has a plot, I only wish it was a little bit more structured. Thanks a tonne for this website!

This is, wildly, NOT the most fucked up film I’ve ever seen, but it’s in the pantheon, for sure. I actually appreciate the unsimulated sex. It added to the atmosphere in a way that simulated sex wouldn’t do. Kudos to the leading lady. She did things I could never bring myself to do, not even for art, and that’s not a judgement. Art is all about authenticity, and she made me feel so deeply for her character. The ending was everything I could have wanted. I love how she finally stood up for herself and drew a figurative line in the sand about how far was too far. It could be argued that she put herself in all of these situations, which, basically she did, but the point is about consent. She consented to everything up until the ponytail man attacked her in her apartment. Sadly, you could go even deeper with this film about how women are viewed by society as merely existing for sex, but when they give in, then they’re whores and worthless. There’s no way to win. I won’t be watching this movie again, but I’m glad I watched it. Not every movie has to be pretty and about the “bright side of life”. As I said, real art is about authenticity, and this film had that in spades.

This movie is really good, firstly this movie is porn but the scenes are well done but not in a typical way futility and despair replace the usual awkwardness of that kind of content. The actress in this movie is amazing, it’s already hard to do porn content but to play it like this is a whole other thing, she gets actually forced oral sex and keeps the despondence turned to 10. The sound design in this movie is the best part, the story is terrible but also common events in succession but the sound makes it feel like a supernatural element is there, like a demon or just the presence of evil.
The ending, the only really unrealistic part of the film and I was basically egging on the protagonist to do what she did well in advance. She never really felt like a victim to me because well it was made clear that she was putting herself through all of what happened and was motivated by self loathing not by necessity. It was nice to see that, while the idea of a person like this being a victim of circumstance or exploitation is easier for people to grasp it’s not how this goes down she just gets what you get when you treat yourself like you deserve suffering, and she sees it through.

Genuinely pretty bad. It’s unpleasant enough to sit through, and yeah, there is a lot of unsimulated sex, but the acting is terrible. Like, “get the gang from the neighbourhood together and shoot a shitty porn movie” terrible.
Also, nobody has any motivation to anything throughout the entire movie, which kind of kills the tension on a story arc meant to be “bleak and disturbing”. The guy who plays the sketchy porn producer literally stammers through his lines.

It was an interesting movie, and i think it shows what happens with people that constantly make bad choices.
People that have bad lifes because of their bad choices and associates with shady people, ends bad. That’s normally the case. For some reason people like that, cannot or refuse to make a self reflection of their behavior, and instead, double down on their downspiral situation.
I really enjoyed this film. The actress Katrina is super hot but kind of realistic and not like your average porn star. The speed of how things go downhill for her was surprising and realistic and it portrays how easy it must be to find yourself in a situation where all you have left is your body to survive. That said, the “acting” was appalling, especially from all the male roles, but if you want a film that makes you cum and cry within a few minutes, this is for you. And for those who questioned if the sex was unsimulated or not, were you watching THIS film? Very rare I say this, but this a hard watch for me personally. I have real trouble watching any kind of violent porn at all, I really am (thankfully) a light-weight when it comes to sex on the screen. I like to be all fluffy and happy and the woman at least seeming to be enjoying themselves.
