Plot – Spoilers:
Overgrown Polish teenagers are at a camp to wean themselves off their phone-addiction. Among them is a fat gamer who dreams of streaming into a sullen-faced girl who is there because she apparently slashed her wrists once. He also gets to be a tragic hero later. Apart from them are a few cliched characters – the dyke-looking camp guide, a gay guy who opens up to the hot blonde at camp only to find she is actually real sensitive. There’s also a not-so-cliched character in a straight virgin who dresses like he is gay. And finally there is the Killer who is just this giant with all kinds of shitty boils and skin disfigurements that have a meteor sauce.
The kills are fine. This is just another slasher though with the advantage of being in a possibly unfamiliar language. Surely there are worse ways to kill your time. Like spending it in the comment sections.

Once upon a time
in her gloomy hut
there lived a witch as ugly as a bat.
She ate little girls at morn,
on little boys she supped.
She’d ride her broom
to the village and back
and stuff plump little children into her great big sack.
But before they reached the pot,
she would sing this to the lot:
“Nobody sleeps in the woods tonight.”

Also, I thought I saw a comment earlier that
you are related to this movies’ producer
Ned Flicks from Poland.
Is he a big time famous producer?
Is that where you got your family money
or is he the one that gives you
money to run the fabulous EUM Media Empire?
This film has an English dub. In fact, this film is a Netflix Original. So the dub could also be posted here.
The characters and story fucking sucked, I hate pseudo intellectual writers that parody slasher films without knowing them, or even liking them. Half the movie is fucking filler and useless since the characters still fucking dumb and unlikeable. And I fucking hate that trope of “As an horror geek I can outsmart the killer” then they get fucked.

In an era where horror films are often dominated by supernatural elements, jump scares, and elaborate visual effects, “Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight” emerges as a refreshing throwback to the classic slasher subgenre. Directed by the Polish filmmaker Bartosz M. Kowalski, this 2020 release manages to capture the essence of old-school horror while infusing it with a modern twist. The film revolves around a group of young tech-addicted individuals who attend a rehabilitation camp in a remote forest, hoping to disconnect from their devices and reconnect with nature. What starts as a seemingly ordinary tale of personal growth soon takes a nightmarish turn as the group finds themselves being stalked by a sadistic and brutal killer. The director skillfully builds tension and suspense throughout the movie, maintaining a palpable sense of dread as the characters are picked off one by one. What sets “Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight” apart is its homage to the classics. The film pays tribute to iconic slashers of the past, from the chilling atmosphere reminiscent of “Friday the 13th” to the unrelenting pursuit of the killer similar to “Halloween.” The practical effects and makeup used in the film are worth applauding, as they bring a visceral and realistic quality to the gore that harks back to the genre’s origins. At its core, the movie comments on the dangers of technology addiction and the disconnect it can create between people and the real world. The characters’ initial obsession with their devices makes them vulnerable,… Read more »

The last about 20 movies that were put on here are pretty lame. I thought “Adoration” (2019) was going to be on here sometime (it’s the lamest one in the Fabrice Du Welz’s Ardennes trilogy but it’s better than this dreck). So many good effed up movies… “Pi” (1998), “Murder of Innocence” (1993), “Kill By Inches” (1999), “Eraserhead” (1977), “Clean, Shaven” (1993), “Revolution #9″ (2001),”No Way to Treat a Lady” (1968), “Angel Heart” (1987), “Cruising” (1980), “Rampage” (1987), “Red, White and Blue” (2010), etc.
Plot spoilers with few words…dykes, sulen faced girl, teenagers with phone addiction, straight guy dressed as gay, gay guy failed flirt with hot blonde, giant with shitty boils and meteor sauce (whatever that is),.
Polish friday the 13th rip off, Cheap effects, The killer is kind of comical, all the camp kids are annoying so seeing them die is ok, but shit film, its on Netflix so thats how Un-Effed up it is. For all the fucking dickheads that will surely jump on my comment with their, homosexual themed smartass remarks, i recommend you go see Ron Jeremy & suck his dick. Goodbye.
