A man in a cop uniform is killing people in New York. Bruce Campbell plays a cop with marital issues and is picked up by his colleagues who believe he’s the maniac cop doing the rounds.
This here is what’s known as the Extended Cut. It really doesn’t mean much because this isn’t some gorefest anyway. All it means is that it includes more scenes of the mayor responsible for creating the maniac cop. These scenes can be recognized from their VHS-level quality and louder volume. Probably thanks to someone working on minimum wage when they spliced this Cut together.

From the title, the year it was made and the cast, we pretty much know what this movie is going to be like. I’m not a big fan of comedies but this one was LOL funny. Several of the murders/killings/attacks made me burst out laughing. Almost all of the actors and actresses I’ve seen in other films but I couldn’t tell you any of their names. 3 stars.
Just so you know – the subtitles are out of sync, probably because of the spliced in extra footage. The reason I turned the subtitles on is because the volume level of the spliced in segments and the action scenes are super loud compared to the parts where their is just dialog. I still thought it was good anyway.
Now we need part 3 when he teams up with Mick Fooley. I love 80s horror!!!
