Plot – Spoilers:
A machinist, Trevor Reznik, believes he hasn’t slept for a year and has the body to show for it. At work, he barely gets along with his co-workers and within his apartment, he spends the nights obsessively cleaning the floor if not his hands. His life has been getting increasingly complex with memory lapses. Frustratingly for Reznik, the people he feels closest to, oddly share similarities to unrelated people from his past, and he begins to doubt everyone he sees and knows.
Christian Bale’s weight loss for the role, earned him among other plaudits, the Body Modification category here.

I understand Trevor’s behaviour, it doesn’t to be as severe as his – to have an impact on your life.

Ivan is the best. Got to hand it to Bale for losing all that weight for the part. Even the director asked him to not be so enthusiastic about losing anymore weight fearing he would die. Jennifer Jason Leigh is a great actress. (Trivia: her dad was Vic Morrow). Top notch cast with top notch results. Good story about guilt. 4 and a half stars.

Neurosis is depicted profoundly in this film. The gruelling monotony, the desolate milieu, and the segregation of astigmatic socialist idiosyncrasies. Such characteristics dictate, if not impinge progressively when perpetuated… Explicitly so.
I don’t hail from America land, in my country our logography is recalibrated, though some of you wouldn’t have a fucking iota of nuance.
Conjointly, if you project malfeasance and reproach unto me, I shall requite accordingly.

Thank you guys very much for uploading this one!! Christian Bale lost 40 lbs for this role… the dude take his shit serious, fo shizzle. One of the all time greats. As for the movie, it’s certainly one to wrap your head around very carefully or you could hurt yourself. The long and short of it is guilt – it can fuck a muther fucker up.
