Plot – Spoilers:
A serial rapist randomly picks out Marjorie one night as she returns from a sweaty game of squash. He tries to assault her in her car, but she manages to escape. But Joe, your average serial rapist, is used to getting his way, and using the wallet she left behind, is able to stalk her to the house she shares with her useless friends. Why they’re useless is elaborated later in the film. But before all that is a quite remarkable sequence between rapist and victim, embellished by the performances from the two leads in what is surely an underrated film in the rape-revenge genre.
A good deal of intrigue and well worth a watch.
A terrific tough drama with a surprising finish. I’ve only known her previously for her brilliant role as a battered wife in The Burning Bed 1984.
A real physilogical thriller and well performed.
Not bad, was basically a stage play. Farrah’s acting was good, everybody else a bit clunky especially Joe
Years of taking in up the ass & its finally happened, ive contracted AIDS,how could you keep this from me Richard, ill never forgive you, neither will Eds kids

The women are stupid, ending is terrible. Best part is when he pulls her tit out and it’s all hot and her nipple is big and he sucks it for a moment like that monkey does Jane’s titty in that Tarzan movie.
Useless friends and worst ending out of all the choices available. I am not even sure if revenge or sexual violence should be listed in its genre. TVM with reasonable plot but missing the vinegar strokes.
I hate people
This movie got a lot of hype and I saw it when it first came out. It’s just as irritating and stupid as I remember it to be. Whoever wrote the script/screenplay should be shot. The three woman were so stupid that I was hoping Joe would get free and attack them. James Russo is horrible in this. This was made back in the day when Vinnie Barbarino, The Fonz and Tony Danza were all the rage. When he’s trapped in the fireplace talking to the short haired woman he sounds just like Fats the dummy from the movie “Magic.” I like Farrah, I was sad when she died and this pains me to say it but this movie sucks. 1 star. Terrible film.
P.S. A really good James Russo film is “No Way Home” from 1996 with Tim Roth and Deborah Kara Unger.
what about the minorities
Glad to see this up,wow seen this on TV late one night when I was a kid in the 80s,never forgotten it,be good to check it out over 30 years later & see how it holds up to memory, thanks EUM
