Plot – Spoilers:
Aimy is not obedient enough. Her grandma and extended family decide she needs the Wolweurth Procedure that combines lobotomy with ECT. Meanwhile there’s a virus ravaging the outsides, sending the world into lockdown.

Aimy In A Cage combines over-the-top dramatic acting with fascinating art littering the background of every other frame. Tim Burton, Terry Gilliam and David Lynch seem like influences, but Aimy doesn’t have enough of a backstory to warrant your sympathy. What makes her evil family evil?

Beginning with the lead actress, there are others also in here that seem like terribly smug indie hipsters you’d struggle to tolerate if you happened upon them. But the aesthetics and overall theme, coupled with the little-over-an-hour duration may perhaps help in keeping your interest.
