Plot (Spoilers):
A woman crawls out of a bodybag and finds herself in an enclosure littered with body parts, filth and viscous fluids. As she explores her surroundings looking for purpose, she discovers she’s in a sort of crawlspace that leads to bizarre locations. More and more women turn up, each one representing and exploring a certain portion of a journey to freedom(?)

Flowers is a surreal experience without testing your patience. The grime, filth and gore in their sepiaish tone are tasteful and almost attractive, and some shots such as the smoking mouth in the toilet are brilliant. Also, unlike some surreal flicks, most of the confusion is cleared up by the end quite satisfactorily.

Late Beckett Plus Gore… it kept its tight grip on me (though it would have been better in black and white since the color — sepia to dark blood red — wasn’t really doing anything). Anyway if movie really shows the afterlife, I’m glad I’m still living.

I’m always surprised when I go to the comments of a film to see what it’s about, and I end up witnessing people fighting

Well shot, good use of light, the special effects are ok (actually good when you consider this is a low budget independent film) and the plot is not “run of the mill” either. Yet for all that the film (for me) was just ‘ok’ when really it should have been more. I think it may have been the steady and somewhat slow pace throughout the film (imo) that did it a disservice, but whatever it was it engaged me (just) but didn’t exhilarate. Hence the score 2.5/5 pig heads

This film is much grosser than Thanatamorphose, and that’s saying a LOT because that film is disgusting. I’m saying that as a compliment though because I am a major gore-hound when it comes to horror films. The synopsis says that the confusion gets settled down by the end of the movie, but I found myself more confused than I was before when it ended. Were the locations representing some of the deadly sins? If they were dead the whole time, where were they actually going? Were they really killed? And most importantly, what actually happened??

Even with this confusion, I enjoyed the film immensely because I like to settle down into experiencing films at their grittiest and most disturbing core. The practical effects were amazing considering the obviously low budget this film had. Overall, loved this movie despite the nonsensical nature of it.

Excellent! This film is like an explosion of colors, reminds me a lot of the aftermath of some crime scenes. I am so desensitized to gore that it doesnt bother me even when as realistic looking as this. The fact there is no dialogue allows one to concentrate more on the visuals and appreciate the great effects on display here. Also, I do believe that there is a part 2 but dont quote me on it.

Never made a comment on this site until now, but I was so frustrated with this movie that I felt like it was worth a comment.
This was so boring, don’t waste your time on it. Special effects were good and cool, I love it when movies don’t use cgi for their gore. The gore was good. HOWEVER everything was drawn out sooo slowly, I constantly found myself thinking “Okay, I get it. Next scene please.” The gore, like I said, was good, but sadly ruined by being so repetitive and being stretched out so long that it loses its shock value and becomes boring.
Little to no plot. Ending was unsurprising and completely unsatisfying. Kind of angry that I sat through this whole movie.

Thanks as always for the awesome n unique selection of movies, admins!

I found this film to be very unique and excellent in its own right. Great plot and also how the film played out thru each of the characters stories separately while all being wrapped together in the end, albeit predictably in terms of their outcome. Very surreal vibes

Gotta say too, this film had EXCELLENT special effects, shockingly so for being a low-budget film. I’d give it an 8/10.

Watched this back to back w the directors second film in the series, titled ‘LUNG’ which was great too, and silent like this one. If u like silent films, check out Begotten. And if u don’t mind the era n want to kick it back 120 years, lol, films like A Trip To The Moon (1902), and The House of the Devil (1896, also the first horror AND first vampire film), by the great Georges Méliès are pinnacles of the silent film genre itself. Since they taught us about him in film school, his work, as well as modern silent films, still obv hold merit. Do not dismiss silent films for being just that, ever
