Plot – Spoilers:
A Japanese man (JM) is in the throes of ennui despite packing his life and apartment with a variety of frills. None of his indulgences seem to be working as he struggles to enjoy the spoils of a recent successful hack.

It’s not all emptiness though, as JM has a pure love for two things. Noodles and the Citroen DS. So when he finds a ’67 DS model for sale on the internet, he heads to Australia to buy it and even forgets to pack noodles.

But when he gets there, the seller is dead and there’s only a blind girl (BG) who convinces him to journey into the Outback with her to find the real owner. Along the way, their lives and experiences are peeled open.

The Goddess of 1967 will lull you before handing down a few hammer blows like a depressing scene of mother dragging her daughter in the aftermath of abuse into a bottomless pit of prayer and God.
