A father has lost his mind after his daughter turned up dead with signs of sexual assault and drugs on her. He mysteriously receives a porn tape starring his daughter in the mail – the flick appears to have been made shortly before her death. When he recovers from the disgust at seeing her in some rough action, he decides it’s appropriate to track the porn-makers down. Along the way, he gets to indulge his fatherly instincts once more when he encounters a young runaway.
Horseman features some brutal violence without descending into a gorefest. Old man Finn at the gym is a favorite for its comedic violence.
A one man vigilante and a highly effective one. All set up for a sequel perhaps.
moefugger acts and looks like a badger, should’ve named the movie ”the badgerman”.
not bad, but it is a pg-13 drama compared to other revenge ones you can find here. nothing effed up about the movie.
Rarely give movies 5 stars but pretty damn good 👍
Normally good with Australian films never Hurd of this one good film the ozzies never disappoint
Great movie!
I really liked it and would highly recommend. I was excited the whole way through and the fight scenes are really well done. I do think the anatgonists are a little conviently dumb and Christian is a bit OP. Still a great movie 7/10
that poster is so funny. i can’t.
great movie. Not going to spoil it But I could’ve done with one less Death in this movie…
the ending tore me apart. D: great acting. i love seeing good australian films. 4/5
Aussie, Aussie
Oi oi oi
I have a soft spot for revenge films. That said, this is well acted and directed. Well paced and the actor playing the father gives a great performance. A fantastic film. 4.5/5 stars. Definitely worth watching.
Nothing like a little ultraviolence to brighten my evening. Thanks again EUM.
Great fun .. fast paced. . .violent. . . Bit daft. .. hugely entertaining…
Love it
I never heard of this Australian film until I saw it on effedup. It caught me by surprise. Christian, the main character, nailed the role. He truly felt like that girls father. I could feel his pain and loneliness through the screen. The fight scenes were great and, good choreography. They werent too gorey, they had a realistic feel to them. There’s still plenty of brutal violence for us effedup fans. The focus was on the revenge tale instead of blood and gore. There wasn’t a dull moment, this was a solid watch all the way through. An effedup gem. Definetly check this out
Holy shit this was great!!
One of the best movies I’ve seen. Gutwrenching!!!
As always, thanks a ton for keeping them new films coming, admins!
Decent film. Gritty fighting-violence, some suspenseful scenes, good pacing, but u basically knew a few minutes into it how it was prbly gonna end the way u thought, er, the stereotypical generic way it did.
Extremly one-dimensional plot, zero-dimensional characters, the (very) few bits of dialogue when they weren’t fighting was ok I guess, etc. I’d give it a 5/10. Still a fun watch tho. BTW, If u want a badass ‘deeper’ revenge flick, check out Dead Man’s Shoes, which is also on this excellent site as well
Great film, they got what was coming to them….cheers
Action, start to finish….. all actor’s were great……. Nothing close to ‘’Last house on the left’’……. Plot made this movie………. thanks Effedup Another Gem…………
There was no gore, but I agree still worth a watch. There were very cool fight scenes.
I felt like the movie was done rather well. It’s Taken meets Last House on the Left. Some things I would’ve added to it but overall it was worth the watch.
Great fight scenes, and revenge plot.
